Tours, Trials and Visitation

Yes, of course — we actively encourage visits to the home.
We understand how important it is to feel comfortable and confident in the environment, whether it’s for yourself or a loved one. You’re very welcome to come in, meet the team, have a look around, and ask any questions you may have.

To make sure we can give you the time and attention you deserve, we do ask that you contact us in advance to arrange a suitable time for your visit.

Absolutely! We understand that choosing residential care is a big decision, and it’s important to feel confident and settled. We offer short-term stays or trial periods, giving you the chance to experience life in the home, meet our team, and see if it feels like the right fit for you.

Just let us know what you’re looking for, and we’ll be happy to talk you through the options.

Yes, absolutely! We warmly welcome visits from family and friends — maintaining those personal connections is so important for overall wellbeing.

We encourage loved ones to visit regularly and be part of life in the home. While we do have some guidelines around visiting hours to ensure a calm and comfortable environment for everyone, we always aim to be flexible and accommodating.

If there’s ever a special request or occasion, just speak to a member of the team — we’re more than happy to help make it happen.

Allergies/Dietary requirements

Yes, of course — All allergies/dietary requirements are assessed, recorded, and will be catered for in accordance with your care and support plan.

Accessibility

Accessibility is something we take seriously, and we’ve made thoughtful adjustments to ensure our home is welcoming and inclusive for everyone.

We have a fully accessible ground floor annexe, a ramp leading into the rear garden, and a ground floor restroom for ease and comfort. If you or your loved one have specific mobility needs, please feel free to get in touch — we’re happy to discuss how we can support you.

Funding

If your care is commissioned by social services or the NHS (or a combination of both), the cost of your residential placement will usually be planned into your overall care package.
We would invoice the commissioning authority directly for the care and support provided, in line with your agreed funding arrangements.

There may occasionally be additional costs outside of your standard care provision that are not included in your allocated budget. In such cases, we may need to liaise with your health or social care professionals to assess the need for any extra funding. You and/or your care team will be kept fully informed of any proposed charges and the outcome of any additional funding requests.

If you are currently self-funding your residential care, you will receive regular invoices based on the agreed terms of your placement.
You are responsible for managing these payments, which will be invoiced at the frequency outlined in your care agreement.

All payment details, including what is included in your fees, can be found in the terms and conditions of your residential care contract

Payment should be made by BACS transfer, by the relevant authority/individual. Further detail can be found within the terms and conditions of our contractual agreement.
